edit: OHH! O_O my second DD!!! :boogie:

You cant even imagine, how happy I am! Because today was my first exhibition too (in Šamorín, Slovakia)! All day long I was working on it, managing everything till perfecttion. I didnt had even a second to visit dA. And now, after everything was done, and the ppl liked my photos, and finally I got home (01.00am here...(: ) I had this little idea in my head, to visit here before I go to sleep. And when I noticed the number of messages, I knew, that something has happened!

Thank you all for your wonderful comments and :+fav:s!

Mostly I want to thank my suggesters, ashkamoo, deyys, Xsandra. And also Anoya for featuring it!

*Xsandra said; "This photo pictures an unbelievable place I've never imagined to exist. With these colors and the surreality of building houses there... this is something I just can't stop looking. An outstanding capture of an outstanding view."

Absolutely gorgeous image and I love it. The ONLY thing I want to comment on is the clouds. I see you've run a slightly longer exposure to smooth the water - but it feels too long to keep the clouds sharp, yet not long enough to make the blur seem deliberate.

If I hide most of the sky (crop immediately below the dark cloud on the left) I find the image becomes far stronger, allowing me to concentrate on the walkway, beautiful blue of the water and the rather interesting little group of houses with just enough sky above them so they don't feel too cramped at the top of the frame.

Really good shot and an easy :+fav:

Sorry for my English, I hope to contribute to a better shot. Excellent composition, very nice geometric and the fusion of colors in the background, very striking, one shot out of the ordinary, you could pick the right release point. Perfect framing and vertical split in 3 / 3. 2 / 3 for the pedestal and 1 / 3 for the background of buildings and sky. Excellent shades of blue sea and sky, a beautiful fusion of color, it would be interesting to know what kind of lens you took, the picture seems there is a slight vignetting. From the picture you used a long exposure, maybe one small personal note, I would have liked it more clouds on fire, for the rest, compliments for the photo.

Very interesting. About 10 months ago I had a dream about water and houses being out on the water all connected by docks. I had no idea that such a place existed.
